Sporting Arkansas ’98 team member, Maisy Louree, signed a national letter of intent on Feb 3rd to play soccer for Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.  The Ravens were Maisy’s number 1 college choice.  She was looking for a small, Catholic school that would allow her to have a broad student athlete experience where she could study Occupational Therapy.

Maisy will be joining a Raven squad that in 2015 repeated as Heart of America Athletic Conference Champions, won the Heart Postseason Tournament and reached the NAIA National Tournament Semifinals while finishing the season ranked No. 4 in the final NAIA Women's Soccer Top 25 Coaches' Poll.

With NWA Lightning and Sporting Arkansas for nine years, Maisy played primarily as a Midfielder when she was most recently coached by Sasha Viatrov and Drew Miller. Among her club team accomplishments: Toured Sweden for International Tournaments with Coach Jakob Nilsson. She was a Team Captain, and member of Arkansas ODP.

Among her accomplishments at Rogers High School. Maisy received Hustle Award Freshman and Sophomore year and four year varsity letterman while making it to the state tournament the last three years. Placed 3rd in State Tournament as member of XC… 4.0 GPA all four years, National Honors Society Officer.  Member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Member of Rachel's Challenge, Freshman Mentor, and a Lifeteen small group leader at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

"Maisy is an exceptional young lady with tremendous potential. She brings unquestionable work ethic, positive attitude, and she possess the spirit of a fighter, which is so rare to find today. Maisy is a valuable asset on any team. Sporting Arkansas will definitely miss her; however, we know that she will do extremely well at the collegiate level. We are very proud of her and wish her the best!” - Coach Viatrov, Sporting Arkansas
