Chase Gipson serves as our Associate Director of Coaching, Pre-Academy and Academy, where he oversees the development of our youngest players up through the U10 age group. With a strong belief in building a solid foundation at the earliest stages, Chase brings a wealth of experience from his playing days and coaching career to help set our youngest athletes on the right path.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chase played four years of collegiate soccer at Lyon College, where his passion for the game deepened. Following college, he returned to his hometown to play professionally in the USL with the Tulsa Roughnecks, gaining firsthand experience at a high level of competition. After hanging up his cleats, Chase transitioned into coaching, eager to share his knowledge and love for the game with the next generation.
His coaching career has spanned multiple levels, including college programs like Lyon College and high school teams such as Batesville and Springdale. In addition to his role at Sporting Arkansas, Chase has been a dedicated community leader, serving as the Branch Executive Director at the NWA Mercy Family YMCA since 2013. He also previously worked as the Recreation Superintendent for Fayetteville Parks and Recreation, further showcasing his commitment to youth development and community engagement.
As one of the club’s earliest hires in the post-Covid era, Chase has been instrumental in shaping the Sporting Arkansas experience—for players, parents, and coaches alike. His steady leadership, deep soccer knowledge, and genuine care for people have helped build the strong foundation the club stands on today.
