Sporting Kansas City Affiliation

Under Major League Soccer (MLS) Youth Development Guidelines, Sporting Kansas City’s homegrown territory consists of the States of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Sporting Kansas City is the ONLY Major League Soccer club permitted to conduct youth development programs, create partnerships, scouting opportunities, and community outreach within its homegrown territory states. Sporting Arkansas became the fourteenth Academy Affiliate of Sporting Kansas City in 2015. As an Official Academy Affiliate of Sporting Kansas City, Sporting Arkansas provides a unique opportunity for players to have a direct professional pathway to MLS.
