Development Player League

Girls – Ages U13-U19

Elevating the Girls' Game

Sporting Arkansas is proud to compete in the Development Player League (DPL) — a national platform designed to empower female athletes and elevate their development, exposure and experience at the highest levels of youth soccer.

As part of the Mid-America Conference, our girls teams compete against top clubs from the central U.S., offering a high-level regional experience with access to national showcases and postseason opportunities. The DPL serves as both a proving ground and a launchpad for players with aspirations to play in college and beyond — all while staying grounded in Sporting Arkansas’ values: joyful development, intentional coaching and character-building through sport.

Why the DPL?

  • National League, Regional Access – Elite competition without excessive travel
  • College Exposure Opportunities – DPL Showcases and postseason events
  • Consistent League Standards – Structured competition aligned with player development best practices
  • Clear Advancement Pathways – Including qualification for national events and the DPL Super Showcase

At Sporting Arkansas, we view the DPL as more than a league — it’s a development ecosystem. Our coaching staff is committed to supporting players through a crucial stage in their soccer journey, where individual growth and team success are cultivated side by side.

Whether your daughter is pursuing college soccer or simply wants to reach her full potential in a competitive, character-focused environment, the DPL at Sporting Arkansas provides the structure, exposure and support she needs to thrive.
