Kevin Tello

Kevin Tello serves as our MLS NEXT Director, leading our top-tier boys academy program in collaboration with Ozark United FC. Known for his sharp tactical mind and player-centered approach, Kevin brings a dynamic blend of collegiate, academy and professional-level coaching experience to the role.

Before joining Sporting Arkansas, Kevin was an Assistant Coach for the University of Memphis Men’s Soccer Team, where he helped guide the Tigers to an NCAA Tournament at-large berth and multiple wins over nationally ranked opponents. Under his coaching, several Memphis players earned All-AAC  and All-Region honors, including standout performers and future professional players.

In 2022, Kevin was selected to the United Soccer Coaches “30 Under 30” Program, a national initiative recognizing emerging leaders in the sport. The program offers mentorship and advanced coaching development, underscoring Kevin’s ongoing commitment to growing both as a coach and a leader.

Kevin’s focus at Sporting Arkansas is on developing a professional training environment that challenges and elevates players on and off the pitch. He oversees the day-to-day coaching and curriculum of the Ozark United Boys Academy — the home of MLS NEXT in Northwest Arkansas — ensuring alignment with national standards while cultivating the character, discipline and drive players need to succeed at the next level.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Kevin connects easily across cultures and teams, building strong relationships with players and families alike. His passion for development, attention to detail and belief in long-term growth make him a critical part of Sporting Arkansas’ vision for elite youth soccer in the region.
